ex-librarian

BOBST, Spring 2008

A few years ago I had a work study job at the New School library. It wasn't very interesting but I liked organizing the stacks when I didn't need to think about anything. It was kind of like working at a bar, I got a lot of regulars and listened to strange stories.

I really liked this one boy who would check out Henry Miller and books about Sun Ra and boating. When I left, I took this really great book about the anatomy, function, and evolution of the human hand.

This is a photo of my dad next to a photo of a guy that looks like an ugly version of my dad.

This is what my dad looked like in the 70's. One of the best photographs ever taken of anyone.

I should be writing essays now. But I just can't care.
